A proud graduate of Bishop Kenny High School, Lark Will '77 was deeply influenced by her father, an engineer, who encouraged his family and championed the belief that women have a place in STEM fields. To honor his memory, she established the John J. Will Memorial Science & Technology Scholarship for a female STEM student who plans to pursue a degree in science, technology, engineering, or math. This endowed scholarship ensures that future generations of females will have the opportunity to pursue careers in STEM.
In addition to creating this scholarship, Lark has made a generous bequest to Bishop Kenny High School. This planned gift will expand the endowed scholarship fund and provide even greater support for young women aspiring to excel in STEM disciplines.
